Dolphin - Center
The Dolphin Center, which is located 180km of Perth in Western Australia, is a non-profit organisation committed to dolphin research and conservation, as well as the care of the numerous tourists who visit the center annually.
Your tasks involve taking care of the tourists as a guide, doing everyday work (such as cleaning and maintenance, etc.), codetermination of the dolphin programmes and supporting the research. Of course you will also work directly with the dolphins when you accompany the visitors meeting the dolphins.
The unique experience of swimming with dolphins also awaits you!
In monthly meetings you meet other volunteers and you can share your experiences. Enjoy the atmosphere at free BBQ parties where free drinks will be provided. There is a delicious breakfast every morning and furthermore, you get coffee and cake around the clock - for free as well!
For your accommodation, you have the option of either being in a dorm with 6-8 people, or a double room.
A minimum length of 6 weeks is required for your voluntary work, in order to make sure you are familiar with the Dolphin Center. During your stay you will work 5 days a week, 8 hours per day.
