The Volunteer Project
You will spend the second half of your stay (after language course) in the project that you have chosen. This will take place in Xela or in the surrounding area.
There is also a possibility to switch host families if the volunteer project is too far away. This way you won't spend most of the day travelling back and forth.
You could volunteer in assisting people in a clinic, teach English, math or gym in a girls school, help harvesting and much more.
