The Orientation Phase
Orientation meetings take place in the first week to give you some time to settle down. There you can get to know all the other volunteers. Our helpful staff answers all of your questions as well as provides you with more information about your project. In this week you will learn more about the country, its culture and its attractions. You explore the Mysore Palace and the Museum. The trip to Shravanbelogola leads you to the Indragiri hill where you will be rewarded with a view of the monolithic great Jain statue, which is a goal for many pilgrims. In addition you have the opportunity to participate in a yoga and mediation lesson as well as in a cooking or language course. After this week you can start your volunteer work with full motivation in Mysore.
