The Volunteer Project
While working with our volunteer programme in New Zealand you will get to know the culture of the Maori people and at the same time protect the environment. You will see the meaning of nature as the oldest New Zealandish civilization holds it and help to protect it.
Your tasks could be planting trees, making paths, etc. You can also expect a very special experience: You and the other participants can spend a night in a Wharenui ("big house"). This goes back to an old Maori tradition of having a big meeting together - experience the Maori culture at first hand!
You and the other participants will be giving something back to the country and its people. During your project you will meet other volunteers and it will be easy to meet like-minded people and you quickly feel like you are home
