Canada Youth Mobility Program: Visa “Work+Travel”
Specifics to Canada
One should make the effort to contact the Canadian embassy early about acquiring a visa. Canada has a limited number of visas that are available every year for Work + Travellers. They are given out following the motto, "first come, first serve". Most all of the visas are given out early in the year.
What does the visa allow me to do?
- For a period of time up to 12 months of Canadian travel and/or
Conditions to apply for visas
To apply for the Working Holiday Visa one must:
- Be between 18 and up to 35 years old
- Have a valid passport of Germany (or another agreeing country)
- Not have care and custody of children
- Not convicted of criminal charges
- Not already been a participant in a Work + Travel programme in Canada
Cost
The Working Holiday Visa costs presently 100,- €.
Application
As of last December the Canadian embassy accepts applications for the Youth Mobilitiy Program Visa "Work + Travel". The application has to be submitted by post. We will gladly help you so that the optimal conditions are in place for a successful application.
The application process takes about 6-8 Weeks.
The approval of the visa is not guarenteed and it is especially important in Canada to start the initially apply before continuing in making a travel plan.
