The Blue Mountains are a rocky countryside about 60 km west of Sydney. You can spot koalas and other wild animals like kangaroos and wallabies in their natural habitat.

By rail:
From Sydney you reach the Blue Mountains easily within one hour. You go to the Country platform area of the Central Station and buy a ticket to Faulconbridge.
By car:
If you want to drive you can park your car at the Faulconbridge Station and have to take the train back there after the walk |
The walk begins in the Blue Mountains on Faulconbridge Railway Station platform meeting at 10.00 am. It ends at the next station (Springwood) at 5.30pm.
Conditions:
You should be at least 14 years old and of good health, balance and mobility. 7 km of physically challenging adventure grade bushwalking awaits you. Slippery bits and rock scrambling is not advised for people over 55 years. You will find yourself in the wilderness ( 2 hours from the next medical and emergency services).
Normally, there will be no bad weather cancellations and lunch, drinks and lockers are neither provided nor available. So please do not forget to bring your own lunch, water, etc. Bring only the minimum you need for the day (no lockers available) and wear shoes with good grip & clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.

Tours are available everyday all year round! To ensure you the highest quality experience normal group size is limited to just 10 people per day. Advanced bookings are therefore essential. Please book early to avoid disappointment. |
New half-day tour:
The price is $75 p.p. It should be only for people who have less time or fitness. This tour is part of the main tour, but concludes with an unguided walk on a proper marked bushwalking trail back to Faulconbridge Station. Full Duration: 10am till 1.30pm |
