In the Tracks of the Aborigines - Itinerary |

Day 1: Alice Springs – Kata Tjuta and Uluru:
We will first take a stop with our tour bus at the Outback Camel Farm, where we can take a ride on a “ship of the desert” (optional). We will go from here to Uluru (Ayers Rock). We will see the fascinating Kata Tjuta cliff formations and experience a spectacular sunset at Ayers Rock. We will spend the night under the starry heaven. |
Day 2: Uluru – Kings Canyon:
Today is an early morning so that you can get up and explore what Ayers Rock has to offer. We will learn about the culture of the Aborigines and then after lunch we will set off for Kings Canyon. We will stay overnight in a camping ground.
Day 3: Kings Canyon – Alice Springs:
We will explore the Kings Canyon and the amphitheatre, the Lost City and the Garden of Eden. After lunch we will head back to Alice Springs where we will stay overnight in a motel.
Day 4: Alice Springs:
Free day to relax and explore Alice Springs
Day 5: Alice Springs – Banka Banka: The first stop is in Ti Tree, where one can buy real Aborigine art. We will visit the Devils Marbels which is a holy place for the natives. We will then soon arrive at our camp in the Banka Banka Cattle Station.

Day 6: Banka Banka – Katherine Gorge:
Our journey will end at the Top End where we will pay a visit to the famous pub Daily Waters. The next highlight of our trip is the thermal springs of Mataranka. We will stay overnight in Katherine Gorge. |

Day 7: Katherine Gorge – Darwin:
We will be alone in the canyon this morning. Whoever wants can take a canoe or boat out on the water. Another attraction here is a spectacular helicopter flight over the canyon (optional). We will stay overnight in a motel in Darwin.
Day 8: Darwin – Mary River:
We begin our day with the Lichtfield National Park waterfalls and then we will continue on to the Mary River wetlands. We will spend the night in the Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge.
Day 9: Mary River – Kakadu:
We will discover the old Aborigine rock art in Ubirr and experience the unforgettable view of the Nardab flood plains. Then we will hike through the Barramundi Gorge. We will camp out this night in the Kakadu National Park.
Day 10: Kakadu – Darwin: Today it is time to go on a Jeep-Safari in Jim Jim Falls! After a hike to the foot of the waterfall we will break and prepare for our journey to the Twin Falls. The scenery while driving through is simply breathtaking. At night we will head back to Darwin.
